It's Been 4 Years.


I have learned that it gets easier every year. And you see so many other people struggle with so many other problems that it becomes less and less significant. Something to learn and grow from, instead of something to dwell on.

But it reminds you....


...that "things" are not that important. "Things" can be replaced.

And now, I am in a completely different spot in my life. A new job, a new state, and a little house of my own. It makes it even easier to cherish days like these that allow you to slow down, and appreciate what you have. And you realize that you are not just remembering that day, 4 years ago...you are replaying the sequence that led you out of that trial, and the people that lifted you back up.
