Looking for something to do?

Sometimes space seems so far away, almost unreachable for us mere Earth-bound humans. But every night, shortly after the sun sets, space becomes tangible—all you have to do is look UP. Looking UP at night to search for satellites is one of my absolute most favorite activities of all time. It’s cheap, educational, relaxing, inspiring, romantic, and mind-boggling. Sometimes it is fun to look up when specific space objects will be travelling overhead. My favorite website to use is:

Just tell it where you are located and you will have International Space Station, Space Shuttle, and satellite sightings at your fingertips. [I recommend you bookmark it!]

Go outside tonight and see if you can spot a satellite…I mean, they are only travelling at 17,500 mph….psshhhhhh…
